Eph 3: 20
Exceeding expectations is God’s desire for us. God does extraordinary things. With Him, nothing is impossible. He specializes in exceeding the expectations of men. If we are ready to pay the price, God is willing and ready to equip us for great exploits. In Acts 3:8, the lame man by the beautiful gate expectation was to get some arms from Peter but God exceeded his expectations. Hannah asked God for one male child but God exceeded her expectations and gave her 6 children. To exceed expectations, do not consider men’s speech but God’s word.It is a stamp of His sovereignty. Money and time can be wasted however God can recover them. It might look as if you have lost time but when God starts with you, you will overtake those that have been ahead of you.
Our God dwells in eternity where there is no time. God can override negative decisions against you. That you can breathe freely without medical aids means God is on the throne. When God decides on your case, you will become an argument. God causes the forgotten to be remembered.
David was alone in the bush but he was not lonely because God was with him. It can get to a point in the life of a man when God will say it is no longer about you, I want to show myself.
In 2kgs 3:15 – 16, three kings sought for a prophet to inquire from him the mind of God over their situations. There are some things that will not go easily except by fasting and prayers. Fasting attracts God and He can show Himself in the place of waiting. Fasting and prayers grant man access to a spiritual God. Know that only man has the ability to transverse the physical and the spiritual realm. Fasting and prayers create a legal platform for spirit beings to operate. It is the recommended way to gain God’s commendation.
Elijah requested for a minstrel to bring down the hand of God upon him. When you praise God, God can do anything. In praise, God can become anything including a terror. God can terrorize your enemies in the presence of praise. Praise is the only thing God cannot do for himself. Man was made to praise God and your praise can put God in the mood to do exceedingly for you such that you will ask for one and God will give you ten in return.
