Text: Isaiah 58:11, 2Kgs 7:1-3
One of the blessings of fasting and prayers is divine guidance. In the place of fasting and prayers, we get leading from the Lord. Let God lead you. The brain of man is too weak and small to understand God.
There was a case of severe scarcity that resulted in people eating their children and in the midst of that famine, a prophet declared that by this time tomorrow, there will be an abundance of food according to the word of God. I was to dis-bias your mind today.
Do not use your situation to try to predict how God will do what he has to do. If you try, you will miss out on the wonders of God. We do not have the capacity to understand the ways of God. We cannot play smart and expect to have a miracle from God. Do you want to get a miracle or healing, then be foolish and only stand on the words of God.
Sometimes ago, someone had a blood shortage, took communion, and the blood was boosted. How can you explain or understand that? Isa 28:21-22. Do not mock the word of God. If you mock the word the Lord has spoken, your bond (captivity) will be strong. Don’t mock God’s word, celebrate the word of God because you attract what you celebrate.
If we think from the mind, we will never see the supernatural.
What must we do to see the hand of God in our lives?
- Enter into a love-motivated covenant with God – 1 Corth 2:9, eyes have not seen. To see the genuine hand of God, enter into a love covenant with God.
- God Must get to his place in our lives for us to get to our place in life – Gen 26:14, Matt 6:33, Gala 4:28. Isaac as a foreigner became the envy of the nation where he was an immigrant. I see many becoming pace-setters after the order of Isaac.
- The word of God has integrity and only those that believe it will see it come to pass – 2 Chron 20:20. Do not doubt the word of God, you are limiting yourself by so doing. Believe his word and you will be established. Confess your healing, believe your healing and you will see your healing. Refuse to hear every contrary voice. Believe the word and stand upon it and it will be accomplished in your life. No matter the prevailing circumstance on earth, God’s word will never fail. See things spiritually!
What is in it for us if we are lovers of God?
- Realms of favour
- Experience his acts in our lives
- Put God first and see how he will make somebody out of nobody.
We will begin to see his acts in our lives when we put God first
Let the love of God begin to burn in our hearts like never before.
