Text: Pro 18:21, Job 33: 21-25, Eze 18:3
All we need is light. Once we catch the light in the word of God, everything else will align in accordance with the word.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue – Pro 18:21 and Christianity is a faith of confession – Heb 4:14. What are we confessing? The integrity of the word of God – Heb 3:1, Eccl 5:6. Do not say before the messenger of God that what you said was an error. 2hat we say is vital because what you say is what you become. And God said, let there be light and there was light. Many times, we confess positively in prayer and thereafter destroy it with our negative confessions. We must confess the word of God. The word of God has integrity. We must hold it IN high esteem. PS 119:89. Many of us have a double confession: the confession of the word and the confession of the fact of our lives.
The word of God is truth and life. The fact is that they may see a growth but the truth is that by His stripes, you are healed. You have been healed before the growth came there. Confess the truth of the word of God and the fact will not find a place anymore. Sense knowledge holds fast to what is said and the challenge with most Christians is that we have been ruled by the physical evidence. If we are ruled by the physical evidence, we will never see the move of the word of God in our lives. It is important that you are not ruled by physical evidence. Until you confess it and you are consistent with your confession, you will not see the evidence. It takes a lot of discipline to confess the word because of the natural evidence that you see. But as you confess the right thing consistently, you see it manifest. In the realm of the spirit, we war with words. When we confess the infallible word of God, it is a positive enchantment.
We must gain mastery over our confession and that comes by consistency. Say all the time what you want to see. What you confess is what you see. You can never hear a negative statement from my mouth. I kept saying the right words and I did not get to that level in one day. When you get a negative report, say it is not yours. Reject it. It comes to reality when you accept it. Say I have been healed, because the price had been paid. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. As you say it, you will get it. Confess positively and stand by it. Find out what your rights are in God and confess it. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world – John 4:4.
The supremacy of God’s word is not contestable. Once you say it, stand by it and go to sleep. We cannot get to the top if we have not gained mastery over the words of our mouths. We must know what we are to confess. Here are four things we must confess:
We have to confess what God in Christ has wrought for us, for example, God in Christ gave us healing – 1 Pet 2:24
We confess what the word through the spirit has done for us. “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” – Romans 8:11
We confess what we are to the Father in Christ. We are seated with Christ far above principalities and powers – Eph 1:20-21. We confess what God can do through us and what the word of God can do when it is in our lips. 2 Corth 5:17
Everything is possible, keep saying it and your body will answer and respond to it. Word confession is like tablets. Every time you confess the word of God, it is like taking a daily. You don’t confess the word of God once, you confess it daily and consistently. In the spirit, everything hears. Dead Lazarus heard and came back to life. Faith grows by confession. Know the mind of God concerning you and keep confessing it. Romans 10: 9-10, 8:37.
Which testimony do you accept? Sense faith or word faith. We unconsciously say what we believe. We can never rise above our confession. Our words can beget abundance or lack. Confess the word of God over that matter and you will have what you say. Keep speaking the right thing, no negative pronouncement and before long, you will have your confession. Keep confessing it until it becomes a reality.
Shalom!
