Text: Hebrews 11: 1
Faith is the substance of things.
The substance of things means a concrete essence. Faith is not blind or brute courage or wishful thinking. Faith is a substance and it is seeable. Faith can touch, it can see.
Faith is a force. The force of faith will make you work.. The receipt of purchase can be likened to faith. The receipt shows that you own a particular item even though you may not have the item physically with you. Faith is a force and it goes around with you.
The Inputs of Faith
- The Word of God – Rom 10:17
There is logos and there is rhema word. Faith comes by the revealed word which is the speaking word or the voice of God in the scriptures. To hear is not just hearing but to perceive, to feel. A man that is not spiritual cannot receive faith. You need to align in the spirit to receive faith.
- Through prayers – Jude 1:20. If we cannot pray especially in the spirit, we cannot receive faith. Prayer is not just an exercise, there is an end to prayer and that end is to capture the voice of God that can help us to build faith.
The Outputs of Faith
How do you measure that Faith has come?
- The speaking of Faith – 2 Corth 4:13, the speaking of faith. You cannot have faith and not speak it.. What you speak determines if you have faith and the magnitude of your faith.
- The works of faith- You can’t have faith and not show forth work. The faith that is alive will propel you to work.
The Environment of Faith
- A pure conscience – 1 Tim 3:9. You need to have a pure conscience to build faith
2.Faith work in Love – Gal 4:6. A man that has no love can not build faith.
Labour on the word and on prayer because your life depends on it. What prayers will do for you in a moment, physical labour will not offer that in years.
The end of faith is the manifestation of what is important in the heart of God. The realm we are is a derivative of another realm which is the spiritual realm. Your life is faith-based and if you do anything outside of faith, you have altered the operations of the invisible realm. If your faith is missing, the purposes of God can be held in heaven for a season. Heb10:38
This world is a derivative of the unseen world. That was why when man sinned in the garden of Eden, he altered the agenda in the invisible realm. And anything that does not mirror the invisible realm is considered vanity and a waste! We have to mirror the invisible world and pattern our lives and live after the standard of heaven.
Are you mirroring the agenda of the invisible realm? If you are missing on the alter of prayers, you are missing in the place of the study of the word of God, then it is vanity. The just shall live by faith and it is not given to man to live by his own self. You’re a derivative of God. When you are not mirroring the invisible realm, then you are nowhere before God. Where are you in the invisible realm? You are a derivative of God. Where are you in God? Anytime you go out of the camp of God, you have entered another camp.
How far have you gone in the journey of Destiny How did you get here? Grace will back you up when you begin to manifest and live by faith. If there is no grace at work in your life, it means destiny has not started. When you see grace, it means destiny has started. You may have made mistakes and gone astray over the years, but why not go to God today and ask God of the direction to take and what He is saying concerning you? Come back to the alter!!!
