Text: 1sa 38:20, Lk 8:10

King Hezekiah had a health challenge but made a very prophetic statement: “Because he knew the Lord will heal him, he will sing his song. The kingdom of God is completely different from that of the world. We work by faith and the kingdom of God is far superior to the kingdom of this earth. The mysteries of the kingdom are hidden in parables; until we understand the kingdom’s mysteries, we might not understand. For instance, the natural way to amass is to gather, but the Bible says if you want to amass, then scatter. If you don’t have an understanding of the mystery of the kingdom, you will wallow in ignorance and not be able to command results. For example, you cannot receive if you do not give. That is a mystery of the kingdom – Ps 103:7-9

Understanding the mysteries of the kingdom requires our efforts to learn. Talk to God concerning what he is saying through His word. The seed sown by the sower brought forth fruits with different results – 30%, 60% 100% depending on their understanding of the mysteries of God. We cannot do without an understanding of the mysteries of the kingdom – Acts 8:30-33. When a man encounters revelation, his attitude to the things of God changes.  You don’t need to be cajoled the moment you understand the mystery of the kingdom.

Job 33:28-34. Ask the Lord to open your eyes to understand His word.

Ps 149:8 – Praise can be highly prophetic if we understand what we are doing. It is a prophetic instrument. We must contend for the fulfilment of prophecies 1 Tim1: 18. You war with prophecies, you don’t sleep with it. One way we war with prophecies is by engaging in the act of praise. Gen 13:15 – God told Abraham ahead of time that his descendants would be slaves in Egypt for 400 years but because they did not act timely, they stayed an extra 30 years. Ex 12:40 – the children of Israel had to cry until God responded to them. When you do not insist on your right by revelation and understanding, then the status quo remains. The oppressors don’t show mercy on the oppressed. If they don’t rise to fight, the oppression will continue from generation to generation.

The surest word of prophecy is the word of God. The word of God is for everyone. It is not for a selected group. The moment you meet the conditions, step into it. Mk13:37, 2Pet 1:19-21. That is why some of the people doing great things today were nobody a few years ago. God releases vengeance on our enemies through praise. Another mystery of praise is that even babes can occupy a place of dominion in praise. A typical case of the wonder of God was when He parted the Red Sea. Another scenario was recorded in 2 Chron 20:20-22  – as they praised the Lord, He set ambushment against the enemies and they destroyed themselves. When we are praising God, have this at the back of your mind: Ps 68:1-2, “Let God arise and his enemies be scattered”. Praise is a spiritual exercise. Engage your heart and see the move of God. We praise collectively but God receives it individually. When we begin to upload our heart-felt praise to God passionately, we draw down the blessing of God. God releases vengeance on our enemies through praise. As we praise God with our mouths, we are exercising judgment. Prophetic praise is not a quiet kind of praise – Ps 47:1

Praise is highly spiritual. The moment we indulge in praise, we invite God’s presence into our dwelling. Zeph 3:14-17 – God’s gates are opened to us into the perfection of our visions and purpose for our lives.

Endeavour to deploy the mystery of praise this season and always!

Shalom!
